Four contestants take on Stage One at the same time, racing each other to the finish point. The first two contestants to finish in time move onto Stage Two, however, if none of the four complete the course they all get a second chance later on.
1) Floating Hurdle:
To start there two rafts floating in the water, each with a hurdle in the middle. Contestants have to jump onto the raft, climb over the hurdle and jump off the other side.
2) Log Bridge:
Contestants have to balance across one of three logs reach the next part of the course.
3) Swinging Logs:
A number of short logs are hanging from ropes. The contestants have to step across these swings to cross the pool.
4) Iron Prison:
Contestants have to make their way through a cage tunnel by stepping on narrow ledges on either side. There is no bottom to the cage, so if they slip off they'll fall into the water blow.
5) Swing Jump:
Contestants have to sit on a swing and swing out across the water, launching themselves onto a floating raft below. They must land safely on the raft to be able to continue.
6) Raft Pull:
After landing on the raft, contestants must use a rope to pull themselves across the water towards a cargo net.
7) Rope Ladder:
Finally the contestants have to climb up a cargo net. To successfully clear the stage they need to grab one of two flags from the platform at the top.

Second Chance Round:
The groups that failed Stage One now get a second chance at continuing on in the competition.
There are two turntables on opposite sides of the water, each with a narrow L-shaped path leading from them, across the water, to a flag. Two contestants crouch on each turntable and are spun at speed for 20 seconds. When the spinning stops they have to race along the path and attempt to grab the flag.
The first contestant to grab the flag in each round wins, and gets to move onto Stage Two.

1) Super Jump:
To start, contestants stand on a board at the top of a slide. Balancing on this board they have to slide down the slope to the bottom. Just before the board reaches the end they must jump off and land on a round platform in the middle of the water.
2) Spinning Log:
Contestants have to climb over three hurdles, each higher than the previous one.
3) Dancing Stones:
Here there are eight poles sticking out of the water, on top of each are rounded 'stone' shapes. To get to the next part of the course the contestants must cross the water by stepping across these stones.
4) Domino Hill:
This is a row of 17 giant foam dominoes. Contestants have to carefully step across the top of them to reach the next part of the course.
5) Barrel Roll:
Contestants must balance on top of a long metal barrel and carefully roll it down the sloped tracks.
6) Swinging Beams:
The final obstacle is made up of three beams: the first a tree branch; the second a bamboo pole, and the third is a metal pole. The first two beams suspended are from ropes at each end, much like a couple of swings. The contestants have to balance across these swings with only the help of a one rope hanging above the middle of each beam as support. The third beam doesn't swing, but it doesn't have any support for the contestants to hang onto either. They must make their way across this final beam, jump onto a platform, and run to the button at the end of the course to stop the clock.

High Jump:
The remaining contestants face a high jump contest. Using a trampoline they have to jump over a bar, initially set at a height of 1.8 metres.
Each contestant gets two chances to clear the bar. The bar is raised higher and higher until only three contestants are able to clear it. These three move onto Stage Four.
